New Show in December

Good news!  Les Belles Artistes has a new upcoming show this December, 2012, at the High Mountain Presbyterian Church.  Right now we are all busy painting, matting and framing, and looking forward to getting together to put on a great exhibit.  More info to come.

Tanya Turchin solo show

One of our members, Tanya Turchin, has a solo show this month at the Franklin Lakes Presbyterian Church. Here is a picture of Tanya and some of her lovely paintings.

*Editor's note: please forgive glare on some of the paintings - many windows reflecting on the glass.

New Show at Franklin Lakes Presbyterian Church

Les Belles Artistes is having its fourth group show in September. We will be showing at the Franklin Lakes Presbyterian Church, 730 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ, starting September 2. This will be our fourth annual show, and the second time showing at the church, since our group was formed 4 years ago.

We 're Hangin' at the YMCA

Yesterday we hung our paintings at the YMCA. We each had a small wall to hang our 5 paintings. Top to bottom are: Monique du Bois, Anna Fronte, Michelle Himes, Lorrie Pallant, Natalie Saunders, and Tanya Turchin. Absent was Nan Michelmore - but her beautiful paintings were brought and hung also.

Our Next Show

We are having a new show! Les Belles Artistes will be showing at the Wyckoff, NJ YMCA during the month of November, 2009. I'm excited because we have all been working hard and have some new paintings to show.

"A Passion for Painting" Award

To my Les Belles Artistes friends,

I am passing this award on to all of you for the friendship and inspiration you have provided me. Happy Painting!

Post Show Comments

Well, we all picked up our paintings (unfortunately no sales this time). I have to say that it was a beautiful show. I loved all of our paintings, and the library wants us back again soon. I have to say that the Louis Bay 2nd Library is a great place to show, and Clara and Sal did a terrific job hanging our paintings.

Where to next, girls? We are scheduled for a show in November 2009 at the Wyckoff YMCA, but it would be great to do something before that also.
