We 're Hangin' at the YMCA

Yesterday we hung our paintings at the YMCA. We each had a small wall to hang our 5 paintings. Top to bottom are: Monique du Bois, Anna Fronte, Michelle Himes, Lorrie Pallant, Natalie Saunders, and Tanya Turchin. Absent was Nan Michelmore - but her beautiful paintings were brought and hung also.

Our Next Show

We are having a new show! Les Belles Artistes will be showing at the Wyckoff, NJ YMCA during the month of November, 2009. I'm excited because we have all been working hard and have some new paintings to show.

Well, we all picked up our paintings (unfortunately no sales this time). I have to say that it was a beautiful show. I loved all of our paintings, and the library wants us back again soon. I have to say that the Louis Bay 2nd Library is a great place to show, and Clara and Sal did a terrific job hanging our paintings.

Where to next, girls? We are scheduled for a show in November 2009 at the Wyckoff YMCA, but it would be great to do something before that also.

We're Famous!

Since four of us live in Bergen County, the Suburban News did a feature story on us for the "Entertainment" section. It was fun to be interviewed, we have a nice clipping for our scrapbooks, and maybe we will end up with other exhibit opportunities from this publicity. Several of my friends and aquaintances have mentioned seeing the article already. Thank you, Suburban News.
